Dr. Morteza Naderi is a distinguished Associate Professor at Sakarya University (Turkey), renowned for his contributions to the field of ecology and conservation. With a rich academic background, he holds a Ph.D. in wildlife biology and ecology, along with a postdoctoral fellowship in Conservation Genetics and Ecology at Koç University. Dr. Naderi's career spans over two decades, marked by significant achievements and academic excellence. During his tenure as an Associate Professor at Arak State University, Iran, from 2015 to 2018, Dr. Naderi not only taught various courses related to wildlife ecology, management, and conservation but also led multiple research projects. Dr. Naderi's contributions to academia extend to authoring three academic books in Persian, addressing topics in Wildlife Ecology, Conservation Biology, and Wildlife Management and Ecology.

Dr. Naderi's commitment to wildlife conservation is further evident through his involvement with organizations like the Wildlife Conservation Network and his role as Chairman of the Biodiversity Conservation Society. Dr. Naderi's research interests encompass diverse aspects of ecology and conservation, with a particular focus on large carnivores' ecology, molecular ecology, and landscape genetics. He has secured substantial research grants, including a TUBITAK 1001 project on brown bear landscape genomics and a second project on a country-wide project on wolf-dog hybridization in Turkey, and a partner of the Biodiversa Project on wolf-dog hybridization across Europe. With a prolific publication record, Dr. Naderi's work is highly regarded in the scientific community. His numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, along with his presentations at international conferences, have significantly contributed to our understanding of wildlife and ecosystems.  Dr. Morteza Naderi continues to inspire and lead the way in wildlife conservation and ecological research, leaving an indelible mark on the field and fostering a greater appreciation for the natural world.
